Publishers Note It’s hard for me to believe that this is my 19th year of golf publishing in Colorado. It all started in 1992 with Metropolitan Tee Times, a limited circulation newspaper providing Denver area news for the recreational golfer. As reader demand increased through the years to include the entire state, so did the need to change the name and format of the publication, and so Metro Tee Times became GOLFViews Magazine. GOLFViews was soon recognized as one of the most up to date, reliable resources for golf related news and information in Colorado. And now, just as the increased circulation warranted change years ago, today's continually evolving media landscape demands yet another change and a new chapter in O’Keefe Publishing’s long golf publishing history. GOLFViews Magazine has now become DIVOT Magazine, offering a smaller, more user friendly format designed to be “The Guide to Golf in Colorado.” All of the same golf related news, information, trends and lifestyles that Colorado golfers enjoyed in GOLFViews now continues in a unique format unlike anything else found in this market. And because of the new digest size, DIVOT Magazine increased it’s distribution points, making it more visable and available than ever before. Additionally, this new format is less expensive to print and distribute, giving DIVOT advertisers the ability to stretch their budgets even further without sacrificing exposure. What was previously an unrealistic expense has now become an opportunity to bundle print with our growing email and website services, ensuring multi-media blanket exposure, designed to reach every golfer in the state. |I hope you enjoy the new format.
